Beliefs of the Qumran
In chapter 7, Collins looks into a discussion of the Qumran. This subject is however described very briefly by the author. However, brief as it is, it does offer a history of the Qumran sect. The discussion is not very extensive largely because of the fact that Collins chose to devote most of the book to the apocalypticism in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Early Enoch Literature
After categorizing the apocalypses, Collins then proceeds to look further into the early Enoch Literature. Here, his specific area of interest is the 5 separate compositions which comprise 1 Enoch, the Book of Dreams from chapter 72- 82, the Epistle of Enoch from chapters 91-108, the Book of the Watchers from chapter 1-36 and the Similitudes from chapter 37-71.
Having written and discussed on the background and the interpretation of 1 Enoch, the author then moves to another historical figure. In chapters 4 and 5, he moves on to look at the book of Daniel. These two chapters are very significant in the book as they give information about the story on Daniel, who was the only example of apocalyptic literature that ever existed in the Hebrew Bible.

What is a Literature Review
According to O’Grady K. & O’Grady J (2009), a literature review “is a comprehensive investigation of all the documents, publications, articles and books regarding a specific area of study”. A client’s corporate communications and that of a competitor or rival are important aspects of literature reviews. In the relationship between clients and designers, literature reviews enable the designer to gain an insight, history and familiarize with the corporate background of the client. A literature review on the client’s line of business also enables a designer to analyze competitors, and monitor market trends.
